Welcome to South Eastern Multiple Birth Association (SEMBA). Congratulations if you are pregnant and expecting a multiple birth.

The South Eastern Multiple Birth Association (SEMBA) is a support group for multiple birth families, run by parents with multiples. Our aim is to provide a means of communication for sharing information on the care and raising of multiple birth children and to offer support to these families.

SEMBA supports families with multiples living in and around the South East of Melbourne, covering the main areas of Bayside, Glen Eira and Kingston Councils.

All our members have twins or higher order multiples (HOMs) and we offer services and assistance which help making life that little bit easier when you’re dealing with the challenges of raising more than one child of the same age at the same time.

SEMBA’S OBJECTIVES:

• To provide a means of communication for sharing information on the care and raising of multiple birth children
• To be a support group, co-operating with other community groups, to offer consistent support to multiple birth families
• To increase awareness of the special needs of multiple birth families and improve resources available to them
• To be a non-commercial, non-sectarian and not-for-profit organisation.

SEMBA offers a wide variety of services and all members are most welcome to participate in the activities.
